Cameron Fulton - Manager
Cameron holds a Bachelor's
Degree of Science in Geography from the University of Victoria,
Canada, and has worked over 20 years in the in the fields of land
surveying, forestry, geomatics, trail planning and construction
contracting. Cameron is the Chief Contractor for all Valhalla projects.
Cameron provides our firm with a highly efficient, organized and
quality project. An avid mountaineer and telemark skier, who was
raised in the Rockies Cameron hiked more trails before he was ten
than most people will in a lifetime. His love for the outdoors,
and a devotion to sustainability, has driven him to exlore and learn
from some of the most amazing and diverse spots the earth has to
offer. Cameron has climbed and mountain biked throughout South and
Central America, South Africa and Zimbabwe, Canada and the U.S.
where he has seen sustainability at it's best. Cameron is an advocate
of innovative solutions, a safe work environment and sustainable
planning and design.
Danica Rice - Planning Director
Danica is a full Member
of the Canadian Institute of Planners, holds a Masters Degree in
Environmental Design, from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's
Degree in Geography from the University of Victoria. Danica has
worked over ten years as a planner, specializing in public consulation,
volunteer initiatives, land use planning, recreation master planning,
visioning, trail planning, design and layout, natural resource sensitive
area monitoring and public education. Raised as a city slicker in
Toronto, she would escape to the lakes and rivers to explore nature
on a daily basis. After five years on the Canadian National Team
and a silver medalist at the 1997 World Championships in Kayaking,
Danica moved to the west to climb, bike and ski the mountains. As
an Initial Attack Firefighter, based out of Revelstoke, she acquired
the field skills necessary to build and maintain trails and parklands,
while at school she learned the politics and procedures required
for efficient land use planning and land management. Today, she
is a softened hardcore, as she teaches her daughter the values of
sustainability, while treking with her in a baby backpack...
