Using GPS (global positioning systems) technology Valhalla Contracting can delineate a trail and then transfer it to GIS (geographic information system) software to overlay the alignment on satellite photography, aerial photography, property information, environmental data, and elevation models. This process can be invaluable in the planning phase of trail construction and can help define, and consolidate, an existing trail network. Depending on your needs, Valhalla Contracting can produce either paper maps or computer generated images as a final product.
